Travel to Coll by sea is organised by Caledonian MacBrayne who run car ferries from Oban to Coll four times a week in winter and seven times a week in the summer (a timetable is available on request). Most ferries leave early in the morning, but the Tuesday ferry leaving at 3pm is particularly useful for groups coming to Coll in the summer. Accommodation in Oban is available at various guesthouses.

Free transport to and from the ferry is available.

Transport around the island can be arranged at extra cost.
